Elaine Pruett

Elaine is a seasoned skater and coach and has been with the Eugene Figure skating Club since 2016. Born and raised in England, Elaine took to the ice for the first time at age 9 and was immediately in love with figure skating. Being from a humble background, Elaine was not fortunate enough to afford lessons and practiced on her own and taught herself spins and jumps. Fortunately, what began as a passion became a gateway to another life when a coach saw potential in her and agreed to give her lessons until she could afford to pay for them. After some years of training and competing regionally, Elaine auditioned for Disney on Ice and left England at the age of 18 to tour the world as a professional figure skater.

Her extensive career with Disney on Ice spanned 17 years as a chorus and principal character skater, line captain, head wardrobe, show support manager, and in-house costume production manager. After her retirement in 2007, Elaine took on the role of costume show support manager with Ringling Bros Circus and Disney Live. Elaine coaches both private and group lessons.

Alex McCaslin

Alex has been skating for 15 years. She has passed her Juvenile Moves in the Field test and loves working with teen and adult skaters. She is a current Learn to Skate Instructor and is available for private lessons upon request.
