Donate to the Rink Improvement Project and Keep Ice Sports in our Community

April 8, 2024 By Christy McCaslin

You’ve probably heard about the need for major repairs to the rink. The old ice-making system is almost 35 years old and without a new chiller and cooling coils system, the rink will only be able to reopen in the Fall when the funds have been raised.  A non-profit, Frozen Ice Sports (FIS), was founded to raise money for this project – $500,000!   EFSC is working towards a goal of raising $10,000 to help with the repairs, and we are happy to announce that the club will match up to $10,000 for all funds donated through April 30th!  If you have any questions, please send us an email at sk8eugene@gmail.com or you can check out the FIS website. See the donation instructions below.  All donations go directly to Frozen Ice Sports (make checks payable to Frozen Ice Sports). EFSC will present all funds donated to FIS at the conclusion of our campaign.
